Let's get gathered to develop existing or establish new cooperation projects in Svalbard. We allocate funding up to 500 000 NOK for cooperation activities that contribute to increased scientific quality in Svalbard research.
Svalbard Strategic Grant supports workshops and collaborative activities to enhance international and inter-disciplinary cooperation, initiate pilot studies, planning of larger projects and to stimulate to open sharing of data.
The priority of this call is to support network projects and workshops that develop and stimulate existing or establish new scientific cooperation. Svalbard Strategic Grant supports activities which increase cooperation between research localities in Svalbard, and further put Svalbard research into a larger pan-Arctic perspective. This year's call also aims to stimulate sustainable cooperation with Svalbard Integrated Arctic Earth Observing System (SIOS).
