Svalbard Science Conference 2025
Svalbard as an Arctic hotspot for climate change and international cooperation. Conference 28-29 October 2025 at Quality Hotel Expo, Fornebu (Oslo).

Call for abstracts
As for previous Svalbard Science Conferences, we invite participants to submit abstracts for presentations and/or posters. We also invite the participants to tell us about all the unexpected things that can happen during fieldwork during the “A polar bear ate my zodiac” session. Four plenary and six parallel sessions are planned. The main difference between the two formats is the structure and the slightly larger outlook of the plenary themes. See the preliminary program for details.
The abstracts will be assessed by the SSC Scientific Committee. The Committee will select abstracts for oral presentations and the poster session. Decision on abstracts is expected to be taken in August.
Deadline for submitting abstracts is 1st May.
