About the event

Norway is a member of Global Health EDCTP3 that launches yearly calls for proposals with funding opportunities for Norwegian researchers collaborating with other European and African researchers.

Global Health EDCTP3 is the African and European research partnership on infectious diseases investing in global health through supporting collaborative research projects tackling infectious diseases in sub-Saharan Africa. Norway has supported the partnership since its establishment in 2003.

In this webinar, you will learn more about how Global Health EDCTP3 is structured, its priorities and relevant funding opportunities. Also, valuable insight into the application- and consortium building process will be shared by researchers from Norwegian institutions coordinating and participating in ongoing EDCTP-funded projects. The partnership will be put in context of our national priorities and funding mechanisms, and possibilities of assistance from the Research Council will be presented.
