About the event

See the presentations:

Norwegian R&I institutions can strengthen their programmes for doctoral and post-doctoral training through the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions COFUND action. This webinar is primarily directed towards decision makers at institutional level and others who would like to have extra funding for  early-career fellowship programmes.

The co-financing of fellowship programmes is not widely used or known in Norway, or what the COFUND activity under MSCA entails. In the webinar, you will get a grip on whether COFUND is an opportunity for your institution or not. The agenda of the meeting is basically two presentations plus Q&A. The first speaker is COFUND Call Coordinator at the EC Research Executive Agency (REA) Alexandra Goncalves Pedersen who will inform of the call 2023. Next up is Professor and Vice-dean of research at the Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at NTNU, Ingelin Steinsland, who will speak of their experience with planning a proposal, applying for and get funded and then implement the project "PERSEUS". Finally, there will be a question-and-answer session.

COFUND 2023 has a deadline 8. February 2024 with a budget of 96,57 million euro. The MSCA intends to have annual deadlines throughout Horizon Europe. Here is information about Norwegian COFUNDed projects:
