Tropical Forests: Global Implications and Pressing Actions

Belmont Forum call for international cooperation on tropical forests.

The Research Council of Norway contributes with NOK 10 million to Norwegian project participants and their partners in low and lower middle income countries (LLMICs).

This call aims to coordinate actions and projects with a transdisciplinary approach to develop innovative solutions to the challenges faced in tropical forest regions.
The call has three specific areas and the proposals must encompass elements from at least two of the three areas. The projects must be transdisciplinary and include partners from at least three of the involved countries.

See the call for proposals and application submission portal on the Belmont Forum website: https://belmontforum.org/cras#forests

See specific information for Norwegian partners in the national annex for Norway which you will find in the call.

If you have questions about the call for proposals and the requirements in the national annex, please contact Ida Ulleberg Jensen who works with climate research at the Research Council.
