NANOTECMEC: Nano and advanced technologies for disease prevention, diagnostic and therapy

The Research Council is announcing 1,600,000 euros to Norwegian researchers who want to participate in transnational research collaboration.

The aim of the call is

  • to support translational research projects that combine innovative approaches in the field of nanomedicine and
  • to encourage and enable transnational cooperation between
    • academic research o clinical/public health research
    • R&D activities from industrial enterprises (all sizes)

The participation of Medical Doctors and clinicians is strongly encouraged. Norwegian projects must have participation from Norwegian SMEs or other private industry with a separate budget. SMEs (Small and Medium-size Enterprises) are also strongly encouraged to participate.

Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) are not eligible partners in this call. See also specifications in the national annex in the main call on ERA4Healt's website.

Brødtekst: Project proposals will address multidisciplinary and translational research. The applications must cover at least one of the following nanomedicine areas that are of equal relevance for this call: 

  • Regenerative medicine 
  • Diagnostics 
  • Nanotherapy

  1. Innovation applied research projects
  2. Projects with high potential of applicability at short/medium term

Any aid to an undertaking is considered state aid and will be granted under Article 25 of the EU General Block Exemption Regulation.
