The traffic light system for the Norwegian Salmonid aquaculture
In the summer of 2020, the Research Council was assigned the evaluation of the scientific basis for the traffic light system for the aquaculture industry.
The assignment came from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries.
On this basis, we appointed an international committee that had its first meeting in December 2020.
The Committee has submitted a memorandum with preliminary assessments and proposals for improvements in accordance with its mandate:
- Remit for the evaluation of the scientific basis of the traffic light system (pdf)
- Preliminary note (pdf).
They submitted the final evaluation report in December 2021: An evaluation of the Scientific Basis of the Traffic Light System for Norwegian Salmonid Aquaculture (pdf)
